Introduction
The Secretariat of Project 8000, under the leadership of the Group Chief Executive Officer of Sonhar Sports, is pleased to announce the official commencement of applications for Edition 1 of the Project 8000 Human Capital Development Programme.
Project 8000 is a pioneering sports-tech and human capital development initiative established to identify, develop, and empower the next generation of professionals, innovators, and leaders within Nigeria’s sports ecosystem.
Through a carefully designed curriculum, participants will receive high-level training in sports science, sports technology, data analytics, digital innovation, performance management, leadership development, and modern sports administration.
The launch of Edition 1 follows the successful establishment of strategic partnerships with key institutional stakeholders, including the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), alongside other public and private sector collaborators committed to youth development, innovation, and capacity building.

Edition 1 Financial Structure
Project 8000 is committed to making world-class sports-tech education and human capital development accessible to exceptional Nigerian talents while maintaining the highest standards of training, mentorship, innovation, and professional development.
The programme has an estimated institutional value of ₦500,000 per participant. Through the support of strategic partners and sponsors, Project 8000 has subsidized part of this cost for participants admitted into Edition 1.

Important Financial Notice
The Registration Fee of ₦50,000 is payable after submitting the official application and is required for the admissions process to begin.
Applicants who are offered admission will receive instructions for payment of the ₦50,000 Acceptance Fee, followed by the ₦300,000 Programme Fee before onboarding into Project 8000.
All payments must be made exclusively through official Project 8000 payment channels. Payments made through unauthorized individuals or unofficial accounts will not be recognized by the Secretariat.

Successful applicants receive an official admission offer together with acceptance instructions.

Acceptance & Programme Fee
Admitted participants complete payment of the ₦50,000 Acceptance Fee and the ₦300,000 Programme Fee through the official Project 8000 payment channels.

Receive confirmation, onboarding materials, programme schedules, and access to Project 8000 resources.
Official Security & Financial Compliance Notice
The Project 8000 Secretariat maintains a strict financial compliance policy to protect every applicant and ensure transparency throughout the admissions process.
Applicants are advised to make payments only through official Project 8000 payment channels. The Secretariat will never request payments through personal bank accounts or unauthorized representatives.
Registration, Acceptance, and Programme Fees should only be paid after receiving the appropriate instructions at each stage of the admissions process.
Any payment made outside officially approved channels shall not be recognized by the Project 8000 Secretariat.
